3 to 4 cups of sauce


4 cups cranberries
2 tbsp. butter
2 cups sugar
1¾ cup water
Juice from one lemon
1 tsp. cinnamon


  1. Mix the cranberries, butter, sugar, and water in a pot. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
  2. Maintain at a rolling boil until the fruits burst (approximately 5 minutes).
  3. Add the lemon juice and cinnamon.
  4. Cover the mixture and chill until firm.
